How to delete your account

Only the shop owner can delete the account. It takes a minute and cannot be undone.

1. Open Bill-O-Fast — the Android app, or sign in on this website.
2. Go to More, then Delete account.
3. Type your shop name and your password to confirm, and tap Delete.

The account is deleted straight away, and every device signed in to it is signed out. If you signed up with Google, typing the shop name is enough.

What is deleted

• Your shop profile, logo and settings.
• Every bill, and the customer names and numbers on them.
• Your items and stock.
• Your khata — every udhaar, payment and old balance.
• Staff logins and every signed-in device.
• Messages your shop sent us from inside the app.

What is kept

• Payments for Bill-O-Fast plans — a record of money taken, which we may be required by law to keep.
• Your email and mobile number, only to stop the same details taking another free trial.

Staff logins

A staff login is created by the shop owner and cannot delete the shop. The owner removes a staff login from More → Staff, which deletes it; bills that person made keep their name.

Can’t sign in?

Write to us from our Contact page with the email and mobile number the shop signed up with, and ask for the account to be deleted. See also our Privacy policy.
